Avatar

I had heard that you will either love or hate this movie, which seems to be the way it is with James Cameron films and I loved Avatar. In fact, everyone I know that has seen it thus far has loved the film. I find it amazing how many are attributing the technology to James Cameron when it has been around somewhat for many years; just not at the level it needed to be to pull this masterpiece off. I see why they had to wait for the technology to get to the place they could masterfully do this production.

If you don’t know how Avatar was made you can take a look at some of the footage that is now available online to get a good idea of what the actors went through to get these scenes completed. Between them and the talented animation teams that did an awesome job with the background and scenery, the score by James Horner and all the production staff it has turned out fantastic. Yet besides all this, it would not have worked without a great story so that has to be mentioned. And the best piece of machinery to come out of it all is the camera that allowed the director to watch the actors live and se them in their animated environment “dressed” (animated) in character. Now that is something else!
